Each board starts as a slab of black walnut with the live edge left on. We cut it in two, set the halves in a mold, and pour resin between them in one of five colors, from a deep turquoise to an ivory pearl. Once it cures we flatten it, sand it smooth, fit the gold handles, and engrave the name you send us.
The photographs on this site are boards we have already shipped. No two pours move the same way, and no two slabs have the same edge, so yours will be its own board.

Gifting fororganizations
We have done shul dedications, wedding gifts, and year-end gifts for offices. A batch of thirty gets the same walnut and the same care as a single board.
